Audience

Strategy

Public education around safe storage of firearms can prevent accidental gun injuries, particularly among children. A key benefit of this approach is that gun owners can and should prevent guns from being stolen out of cars and homes. Promoting safe storage can also keep firearms from being used for illicit purposes.
