The Survivors Empowered Rapid Response Team is a public awareness campaign that leverages the first-hand stories of gun violence survivors to educate the public and policymakers on the importance of gun safety and the magnitude of the gun problem in the US. The Rapid Response Team is comprised of veteran survivors of violence who provide immediate resources to victims of gun violence. The goal of this campaign is to reduce specific types of gun-involved crime, including domestic violence, mass shootings, and non-fatal shootings.
